Sourcing Taiwan 2012 is organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA)to serve as a trade link between global buyers and top-rated Taiwanese suppliers.

Having made great strides in technological development over the past years, Taiwan has now become one of the leading suppliers of technologically advanced products to the global market. It is home to producers of various key products, including electronics, IT components, semiconductors, photovoltaic application products, and car electronics, as well as auto parts, motorcycles, bicycles, machinery, mold and die works, and different industrial equipment.

Sourcing Taiwan 2012 will be held on March 28 and 29. The program of this event is as follows:

Welcome Reception
The Reception will be held on March 28. All buyers and suppliers as well as representatives from relevant government agencies, industries, and business sectors in Taiwan will be invited.
(2)
Opening Ceremony

Representatives from the Taiwan Government will give a congratulatory remark.

(3)
Trade Meeting Session
 
a.
The meeting will be segmented by different industries, with each buyer having their individual booth.
b.
One-on-one business meetings will be arranged based on the procurement requirements of the buyers.
c.
Suppliers in each industry segment may showcase their products to allow buyers to view them on the spot.
This event promises to bring more opportunities for buyers worldwide to source, purchase and do business with Taiwan.
